Lagat outkicks the field to claim USATF 3K title

What a great way to wrap up a day of track and field. The men’s 3k lived up to the pre-race hype and brought the fans at the Albuquerque Convetion Center to their feet. One of the most anticipated races of this weekend’s USATF Indoor Championships wasn’t decided until the final 200 meters.
