(Indianapolis) The Indiana Invaders head to the USA Indoor National Track & Field Championships represented by Mason Cathey and James O'Brien. The 2010 National Championships will be hosted in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mason Cathey will compete in the 1500 meter Finals on Sunday, February 28th while James O'Brien will kick off the weekend competition for the Invaders with the first round of the men's 800 scheduled on Saturday with the 800 meter Finals set for Sunday.

Mason Cathey was a first time 3000 meter steeplechase national qualifier for the Invaders in 2009. Cathey's best mark in 2009 left her #14 on the USA performance list in her first full season with the Indiana Invaders.

James "Jimmy" O'Brien is the newest member of the 2010 Indiana Invaders roster and will be making his first USA National Championship appearance.

Coach Greg Harger said, "Both Mason and Jimmy are excellent representatives of our revitalized program and as such both roll in to Albuquerque as first time USA Indoor Nationals participants" Harger added, "Our program focus is on learning to compete at national championships and as rookies at the near bottom of their respective event entry lists the weekend's challenges are a good first test".

The Indiana Invaders, a not-for-profit organization competing at USA National Championships since 1999, provide a resident-based, athlete-centered support system based in Indianapolis, Indiana.
